Three steps to freedom by Fr. Dana

Simple Summary:  “If you keep doin’ what you been doin’, you gonna keep gettin’ what you been gettin’.”  But if you want something you’ve never had, then you must do something you’ve never done.  Three steps to freedom, taken by the prodigal son:

  • The prodigal “came to himself”: he realized where he was, and where he could be.
  • He confessed his sin: “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son.
  • He submitted himself to his father: “Make me like one of your hired servants.
